You will see results instantly. Dust comes from shaves nails so I use a few wet cloths to clean up and a face mask. My dogs nails are almost normal again. I'm checking throughout to make sure I'm not near the quik. Plus I just want to give him a break in between sessions. My senior dogs nails were extremely lonnnnnng. I was so worried about his nails. He had gotten nipped by a new groomer after our long time groomer left and we both had anxiety. He would tremble so bad out of fear. Then when I went to the vet they were so condescending and rough.
